Central Luzon Enhances Emergency Medical Response through Simulation Exercise
Central Luzon's emergency medical response system is being reinforced through a two-day simulation exercise involving various stakeholders. This initiative aims to improve disaster preparedness and community resilience in the region.

The Project MedX: Central Luzon Emergency Medical Simulation Exercise (SimEx) involved the Office of Civil Defense, local government, hospitals, and private sector partners testing responses to a simulated magnitude 6.8 earthquake. The exercise evaluated critical components such as mass casualty management, patient transport, and inter-agency coordination.
Following the simulation, a debriefing was conducted to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. This initiative aligns with the Marcos administration's disaster resilience goals and emphasizes multi-sector collaboration, essential for effective emergency preparedness and community safety.
