IperionX Receives Second Task Order from U.S. Army for Titanium Production
IperionX has secured a second task order from the U.S. Army valued at up to $25.4 million under its SBIR Phase III contract. This funding aims to enhance domestic titanium manufacturing capabilities for defense applications, vital for U.S. supply chains.

IperionX Limited has been awarded Task Order 2 under its SBIR Phase III contract with the U.S. Army, which has a maximum potential value of $25.4 million. Task Order 2 includes $11.5 million in currently obligated funding, covering three priority work packages and part of a fourth.
The funding will support the expansion of titanium powder-to-part manufacturing capabilities at IperionX's Virginia facility. Additionally, this program is expected to improve production efficiency and reduce costs for U.S. defense applications.
Future expansions may include aerospace-grade titanium components and advanced material development. The overall contract allows for up to $99 million in project-specific orders across U.S. Government agencies.
