CesiumAstro to Invest $500M in New Texas HQ and Manufacturing Facility, Creating 500 Jobs
CesiumAstro plans to invest over $500 million in a new advanced manufacturing facility and global headquarters in Bee Cave, Texas, generating more than 500 jobs over the next five years. The project is supported by Texas Governor Greg Abbott and aims to bolster the U.S. space and defense sectors.
Additionally, Tekscend Photomask will receive a $15.2 million Texas Semiconductor Innovation Fund grant to expand its photomask production in Round Rock, Texas. This expansion represents a $223 million capital investment and is expected to create 50 jobs while enhancing production capacity by over 40%. The investment will modernize equipment and extend technology capabilities for semiconductor manufacturing.
