CesiumAstro to Invest $500M in New Texas HQ and Manufacturing Facility, Creating 500 Jobs
CesiumAstro will invest over $500 million in a new advanced manufacturing facility and global headquarters in Bee Cave, Texas, creating more than 500 jobs over the next five years. The initiative, backed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott, aims to strengthen the U.S. space and defense sectors. Additionally, Tekscend Photomask will receive a $15.2 million grant to expand its production in Round Rock, Texas, resulting in a $223 million investment and the creation of 50 jobs.

Additionally, Tekscend Photomask will receive a $15.2 million Texas Semiconductor Innovation Fund grant to expand its photomask production in Round Rock, Texas. This expansion represents a $223 million capital investment and is expected to create 50 jobs while enhancing production capacity by over 40%. The investment will modernize equipment and extend technology capabilities for semiconductor manufacturing.
