Chad-Algeria Business Council Session Advances Economic Cooperation
The inaugural session of the Chad-Algeria Business Council was held on April 20, emphasizing collaboration in agriculture, energy, and industry. This initiative aims to enhance bilateral trade and investment opportunities.

The first session of the Chad-Algeria Business Council took place on April 20, led by Algeria's Minister of Foreign Trade Kamel Rezig and Chad's counterpart Guibolo Fanga Mathieu. Discussions focused on energy, agro-food, and industry, with an emphasis on concrete projects to foster economic cooperation.
Chad's economic assets were highlighted, including 39 million hectares of arable land, abundant freshwater reserves, and significant mineral resources. The meeting aimed to attract Algerian investment for dairy and meat processing, construction materials, solar power plants, and the establishment of economic zones. The potential for a traceable livestock supply chain to Algeria was also discussed, signaling a commitment to move from intentions to actual projects.
