Changwon Signs KRW 400 Billion Investment Agreements in Nuclear, Defense, and Robotics Sectors

On January 23, Changwon Special City signed investment agreements totaling KRW 400 billion with eight high-tech companies, generating over 400 new jobs. The investment targets sectors such as nuclear power, defense, aerospace, and robotics.

Doosan Energy will expand its nuclear production facility to enhance competitiveness, while Kipco Aerospace plans to establish a K2 tank parts plant in Changwon. SG Solution aims to solidify its position by setting up a new manufacturing site for defense components.

NDT Engineering will expand a UAM component plant in the Masan Free Trade Zone. Other companies, including Bon Systems and Rovolution, are also expanding operations to boost automation and technology.
