Chatham-Kent council has approved a $1.4 million investment in the Bloomfield Business Park to enhance infrastructure for economic development. This funding will support Phase 3 of the project, which involves extending sanitary sewer services, paving the gravel section of Seventh Line West, and adding utilities including overhead hydro, street lights, natural gas, and telecommunications. The upgrades aim to attract new businesses and create jobs along the Highway 401 corridor.
