Chevron Signs 5-Year Gas Supply Agreement with Horizon Power in Australia
Chevron has entered a 5-year agreement to supply 14 petajoules of natural gas to Horizon Power, a utility in Western Australia. Gas will be sourced from Chevron's Gorgon, Wheatstone, and North West Shelf projects. Deliveries begin in 2027, reinforcing Chevron's commitment to the domestic gas market.

Chevron signed a 5-year contract to supply approximately 14 petajoules of natural gas to Horizon Power, a utility in Western Australia. The gas will come from Chevron's interests in the Gorgon, Wheatstone, and North West Shelf projects, with deliveries starting in 2027.
Chevron stated that it is the largest supplier of gas for electricity generation in Western Australia, where Gorgon and Wheatstone contribute over 40% of the state's gas supply. An asset swap between Chevron and Woodside Energy will see Chevron exit North West Shelf and increase its stake in Wheatstone by 2026.
