China Communications Construction Company has launched the 25,000-m³ dredger Xin Hai Jing for land reclamation projects. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is mobilizing for maintenance dredging at Palm Beach Harbor, using the hopper dredger Padre Island for beach nourishment. TasPorts initiates maintenance dredging at Devonport, critical for Tasmania's supply chains. Additionally, Sarasota County updates on a $41 million dredging project at Philippi Creek, while Kenya Ports Authority conducts dredging at Kisumu Port to enhance trade with Uganda and the DRC.

In Australia, TasPorts has begun maintenance dredging at the Port of Devonport, essential for freight flow. Sarasota County's $41 million dredging project at Philippi Creek aims to restore flow capacity, while Kenya Ports Authority's dredging at Kisumu Port seeks to facilitate larger vessels and enhance trade with Uganda and the DRC.
