China Urges Global Unity Against Terrorism at UN Briefing
China's UN representative, Fu Cong, emphasized the need for the international community to reject selective approaches to terrorism and address its root causes, such as conflict and poverty. During a UN briefing, he highlighted the importance of the UN Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy and called for concrete actions from the Afghan and Syrian governments to combat terrorism. Fu also urged the inclusion of the Balochistan Liberation Army in the Security Council's sanctions list and advocated for enhanced cooperation with African nations.
