On July 4, the Chinar Corps inaugurated a High Mast National Flag in Chandanwari, Jammu & Kashmir, near the starting point of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra. The ceremony was attended by military officials, civil administration representatives, and local citizens.
The flag serves as a symbol of unity and resilience, enhancing the spiritual experience for the thousands of pilgrims and tourists visiting the area. Future flag-hoisting and Beating Retreat ceremonies are planned, further promoting nationalism and local engagement. This initiative aligns with the Indian Army's commitment to nation-building and regional socio-economic development, reinforcing its role in maintaining stability in the Kashmir Valley.
