China's Exports Increase 23.9% in July Amid Trade Tensions
China's exports rose 23.9% year-on-year in July, with notable growth in high-technology products. The country's trade surplus reached $112.5 billion, indicating a shift towards increased external demand despite ongoing trade tensions with the U.S.

In July, China reported a 23.9% year-on-year increase in exports, totaling $2.52 trillion in the first seven months, marking an 18.5% rise. Semiconductors saw exceptional growth at 116.6%, while the overall trade surplus reached $112.5 billion.
U.S. exports grew by 17.0%, amid ongoing technology-related trade tensions, including U.S. import bans. Imports also rose by 27.5%, with a significant 58.8% increase in high-tech imports. The trade surplus's first positive year-on-year growth since February suggests a strengthening external demand, critical for China's industrial outlook.
