In 2026, the Chungcheongbuk-do Office of Education will expand its Teacher Protection Mutual Aid Program to support teachers more effectively. This includes extending criminal case support to negligent homicide cases with deferred indictments, increasing property damage compensation from 1 million won per case to 1 million won per item, and raising litigation expense limits from 3.3 million won to 4.4 million won.

Compensation for damages involving special education students will also increase, and new support for defense costs will be introduced. The program will operate from March 1 for one year under a contract with the Chungcheongbuk-do School Safety Mutual Aid Association.
