Clarity Group has acquired NDB Engineering and its sister company Cofast from administrators, securing over 60 jobs in the Black Country and South West. The acquisition aims to enhance security and attract investment for robotics and productivity improvements.

Moving forward, the business will operate as Cofast, targeting multi-million pound opportunities in decommissioning and domestic naval projects. The companies, with a combined workforce of 64, generate annual revenues of £7 million, focusing on bespoke applications in the nuclear and defence sectors.

Cofast will continue operations from its 22,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Willenhall and a logistics centre in Plymouth. The firms plan to leverage their technical expertise to enter the aerospace supply chain while exploring synergies with Clarity Plastics and other associated companies.
