Clarksburg Utility Upgrade Project Nears Completion with $59 Million Investment
A $59 million infrastructure project in downtown Clarksburg is nearing completion, replacing outdated water mains, sewer lines, and gas lines. Coordinated by the Clarksburg Water Board, Clarksburg Sanitary Board, and Hope Gas, the project aims to improve utility services and will be followed by paving from the state Division of Highways.

The $59 million infrastructure replacement project in downtown Clarksburg is nearing completion after over a year of roadwork. The initiative involves the Clarksburg Water Board, Clarksburg Sanitary Board, and Hope Gas, focusing on replacing outdated water mains, sewer lines, and natural gas lines on Main Street and Pike Street. Once the utility work is completed, paving by the state Division of Highways will commence, enhancing the area’s infrastructure.
