CleanCounts, formerly M-RETS, has issued its 2 billionth clean energy certificate, marking its position as the leading issuer in North America. Under CEO Benjamin Gerber's leadership since 2015, the organization has expanded significantly, now serving major corporations like Google and Microsoft while broadening its tracking services to include Renewable Thermal Certificates and Energy Attribute Certificates for nuclear energy. Additionally, CleanCounts is exploring new markets in food waste energy conversion and ammonia production using clean hydrogen.

CleanCounts, formerly known as M-RETS, has issued its 2 billionth clean energy certificate, the highest in North America. Since Benjamin Gerber became CEO in 2015, the organization has grown from a $1 million budget and three employees to a $10 million budget and over 25 employees.
