CNH Industrial India Produces 800,000th Tractor at Greater Noida Facility
CNH Industrial India has reached a significant milestone, producing its 800,000th tractor at the Greater Noida facility, which enhances its role in global agricultural machinery manufacturing. The facility is expanding its annual production capacity from 60,000 to 70,000 tractors to meet the increasing demand for 'Made in India' products.
CNH Industrial India has rolled out its 800,000th tractor from the Greater Noida plant, operational since 1999. The facility, which manufactures tractors under the New Holland and Case IH brands, achieved this milestone faster than previous cycles, with its last 100,000 tractors produced in record time.
Currently, the plant has an annual production capacity of approximately 60,000 tractors, soon to rise to 70,000. It exports to over 90 countries and employs advanced manufacturing technologies. Sustainability initiatives are also in place, including solar power and water conservation measures. Analysts note India's growing significance as a manufacturing hub for compact tractors, driven by competitive costs and rising global demand.
