Cochin Shipyard to Secure Rs 6,000 Crore Order for Six Survey Vessels from Indian Navy
Cochin Shipyard Ltd is poised to win a contract from the Indian Navy to construct six large survey vessels valued at approximately Rs 6,000 crore. The company was the lowest bidder, quoting below Rs 1,000 crore per vessel. Larsen & Toubro Shipbuilding was the second lowest bidder. The Indian Navy is expected to announce the bid results soon.
