Collins Aerospace Secures $95.7 Million Contract to Upgrade UH-60M Black Hawk Avionics Displays
The U.S. Army has awarded Collins Aerospace a $95.7 million contract to upgrade the avionics displays for the UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter. The contract includes support services and materials for the Multi-Functional Display (MFD) Avionics Suite, enhancing pilot situational awareness and reducing workload. The upgrade is part of the helicopter's glass cockpit system, which replaces analog gauges with digital displays integrated with navigation and mission systems. The work is expected to be completed by February 2031.
