Concelex has received a €49.8 million contract from Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power for the Cernavoda Nuclear Power Plant Unit 1 refurbishment, operated by Nuclearelectrica. Work is set to start in Q1 2026 and conclude by the end of 2027.

The project encompasses the construction of operational and administrative facilities, logistics areas, and infrastructure including an electrical transformer substation, road works, and access control facilities. Additionally, it includes fire protection systems, groundwater monitoring installations, and utility networks. Concelex is certified by the National Commission for Nuclear Activities Control for nuclear construction tasks.
