Conco Inc. is set to officially open its expanded manufacturing facility in Scottsburg, Indiana. The company has completed a new 155mm Modular Artillery Charge System Metal Container Facility, enhancing its production capabilities for ammunition containers used by the U.S. military.

The initial investment of $54 million in 2023 was followed by an additional $71.4 million for a 150,000 square foot expansion, bringing the total facility size to 470,000 square feet. The expansion is expected to create 175 new jobs by the end of 2026.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will feature representatives from Conco, the U.S. Department of Defense, and One Southern Indiana.
