Correos is expanding its sustainability strategy through the Correos Solar project, adding five new photovoltaic plants in Barcelona, Alicante, Valencia, and Sevilla. These installations will enable 22% of energy consumption at these sites to come from renewable sources.

The company aims to have 12 self-consumption facilities by 2026, generating between 5.5 and 6.8 million kWh annually, enough for 1,500 to 2,000 households. Additionally, Correos has implemented an energy management system in 571 offices, achieving annual savings of 1,331,000 kWh. The Correos Recarga initiative has also established 696 charging points for electric vehicles, promoting cleaner mobility.
