Cree Ative Datacenter Corp GP plans to develop a 650 megawatt natural gas power-generating facility located approximately 40 kilometers northeast of Peace River, Alberta. The project will feature a two-stage design that utilizes simple-cycle natural gas turbine technology initially, transitioning to combined cycle technology later.

It is projected to operate for 30 years. The Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (IAAC) is inviting Indigenous Peoples and the public to review the Initial Project Description summary and provide feedback.
