Cremasco's Renewable Energy Communities Enter Operational Phase
Eight Renewable Energy Communities in Cremasco are set to commence energy exchange and access state incentives following regulatory approval. This initiative supports sustainability efforts and economic benefits for local residents and businesses.

The eight Renewable Energy Communities (CER) in Cremasco are now operational after completing necessary bureaucratic processes. With over 213 members, these CERs have achieved a total installed capacity of 1,195 kWp by June 30, 2026, with an expected capacity of 9,519 kWp.
Initial financial reports indicate no revenues yet, as energy trading has not commenced, pending GSE approvals for other CER configurations. The communities have secured over €2 million from PNRR for new photovoltaic installations, with 81 members receiving public funding. Future plans include engaging local entities to expand membership and increase renewable energy production, aiming for an energy sharing rate of 78-85% and estimated annual savings for families between €80 and €100.
