CSUN and Autodesk Formalize Partnership; Meta Acquires Robotics Startup ARI
California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and Autodesk have solidified their partnership with a new MOU, enhancing STEM opportunities for underserved students. Meanwhile, Meta has acquired Assured Robot Intelligence to boost its humanoid robotics capabilities.

On May 1, CSUN President Erika D. Beck and Autodesk CEO Dr. Andrew J.
Anagnost signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance collaboration in engineering and computer science, particularly benefiting underserved students. This partnership includes the Autodesk Technology Engagement Center, which supports innovation and learning in STEM fields.
Meta has acquired Assured Robot Intelligence, focusing on humanoid robotics designed for physical labor. The acquisition will integrate ARI's expertise into Meta's AI unit. Both developments underscore a significant push toward educational and technological advancements in their respective sectors, highlighting the growing intersection of AI and robotics in academia and industry.
