Cubic Corporation Addresses Clipper System Issues Within 61 Days
Cubic Corporation has committed to resolving identified glitches in the Clipper transit system in 61 days. This is critical as the Clipper system serves as a key payment solution for transit across the Bay Area, impacting daily commuters and regional transit operations.

Cubic Corporation, awarded a $461 million contract by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission in 2018 for 10 years of transit operations in the Bay Area, has pledged to rectify glitches in the Clipper system within 61 days. The San Diego-based company also develops technology for defense applications and has recently partnered with Palantir for military data analysis.
There have been no indications that Cubic is sharing transit rider data with its partners, despite concerns raised regarding its collaboration with Palantir, which has faced protests due to its work with Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Improving the Clipper system is essential for maintaining public trust and operational efficiency in regional transit.
