CUST to Deploy Integrated Air Defense System in Russian Regions Starting with Kursk
The Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies (CUST) is set to introduce an integrated air defense system in various Russian regions, with the first deployment scheduled for the Kursk Region by the end of December. This system will be officially placed on combat duty and CUST is prepared to implement similar systems in other regions on a turnkey basis, complying with necessary regulations.
The organization will also provide training for personnel involved in operations and maintenance. CUST's approach features civil-military integration, utilizing comprehensive detection tools including radar, optical, acoustic, and seismic systems. The system has reportedly already intercepted a number of Ukrainian drones, with plans for significant efficiency improvements in the coming months.
