Cyber Guam 2026 Enhances Emergency Networks and Cybersecurity in Guam
From June 1-12, 2026, Airmen, Navy Sailors, and Army Soldiers collaborated in Guam to improve emergency radio and cybersecurity systems. This training under the Department of War's Innovative Readiness Training program involved 60 service members from 18 units, focusing on real-world applications and resource optimization.

Cyber Guam 2026, held from June 1-12, involved collaboration among the 439th Communications Squadron, 439th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, U.S. Navy Reserve, U.S. Army Reserve, and active duty Airmen.
Participants completed 2,000 training tasks, decommissioned outdated equipment, and implemented new network systems, achieving a training value estimated at $250,000. The training emphasized real-world applications, allowing reservists to utilize civilian IT skills to enhance Guam's emergency radio network, saving over $700,000 by repurposing equipment. The program aims to provide cost-free solutions to communities while enhancing military readiness.
