More than 400 Cygnus units were installed in partnership with Lovell to protect the development of 900 new homes for troops and their families relocating from Germany to Salisbury Plain, South Wiltshire, as part of the Army Basing Programme (ABP). The project is divided across Larkhill, Ludgershall, and Bulford, with a Cygnus system installed at each site, including fire call points and detectors.
Autodiallers enable emergency notifications to responsible persons via SMS. This development is part of a larger scheme that will relocate 4,000 service personnel and families to the area by 2020.
