The primary goal is to finalize negotiations for the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) 2028-2034 by June 2026, ensuring strategic priorities and resources for the EU.
Key achievements include securing €1.2 billion to bolster defense capacities across 16 Member States and promoting a Regulation on Military Mobility. Cyprus also reached agreements on trade with Mercosur and completed negotiations on a €90 billion loan to Ukraine.
