Daejeon Companies' Market Capitalization Exceeds 91 Trillion Won, Setting Record High
As of late January, Daejeon's listed companies achieved a market capitalization of 91.85 trillion won, a 13% increase from December. Major contributions came from technology sectors, with Rainbow Robotics increasing by approximately 5 trillion won. The Daejeon Technopark has introduced the Daejeon Listed Company Index to reflect corporate growth and enhance local economic credibility.

Daejeon's listed companies reached a market capitalization of 91.85 trillion won by the end of January, marking a 13% increase from 81.22 trillion won in December. This growth, largely driven by technology stocks, includes a notable 5 trillion won rise from Rainbow Robotics.
The bio sector saw Liga Chem Bio and Peptron contributing 7.43 trillion won and over 1 trillion won, respectively. Daejeon Technopark launched the Daejeon Listed Company Index on February 6, aiming to objectively showcase local companies' growth potential. This index is expected to foster a cycle promoting talent and investment in the region.
