Daewoo E&C Expands Strategic Partnerships with Japanese EPC Firms
Daewoo E&C's CEO Kim Bo-hyun and executives visited Japan to enhance collaboration with Toyo Engineering, Chiyoda, and JGC, focusing on LNG and plant projects. This partnership aims to explore joint opportunities in the global market, including urban development and post-war reconstruction in the Middle East.

From April 12 to 17, Daewoo E&C engaged with Toyo Engineering, Chiyoda, and JGC to deepen cooperation in the LNG and plant sectors. The companies have established a comprehensive MOU to explore new plant projects, including ammonia and methanol.
Daewoo E&C and its partners have a history of collaboration on significant projects, including Sakhalin LNG and the Indorama Fertilizer project. Discussions included urban development with Mori Building and potential financing opportunities with Itochu Corporation, targeting Vietnam for real estate and renewable energy investments. Daewoo E&C's global project history includes 481 projects worth $71 billion across 50 countries, positioning the firm for future growth.
