Daimler Buses Commission New Photovoltaic System at Neu-Ulm Plant
Daimler Buses has launched a photovoltaic system at its Neu-Ulm plant, featuring 1,107 modules that cover over 2,700 square meters. The system has a capacity of approximately 640 kWp and generates around 680 MWh of electricity annually, supporting the site's power demands, including the canteen and administration building.

Daimler Buses has commissioned a photovoltaic system at its Neu-Ulm plant, installing 1,107 modules across more than 2,700 square meters of rooftop. The system's capacity is approximately 640 kilowatt-peak (kWp), generating around 680 megawatt-hours (MWh) of electricity annually.
This generated electricity meets a portion of the site's overall power demand, sufficiently powering both the canteen and the administration building. On non-operational days, the electricity produced covers the site's entire baseload. This initiative reflects Daimler Buses' commitment to renewable energy and environmental sustainability.
