Peter Vaughan Schmidt will lead the group, focusing on automated driving use cases in defined areas of the U.S. and collaborating with relevant customers.
Key activities will include software development, chassis redundancy, and sensor integration. The group will also incorporate Torc Robotics and work with the passenger car division to utilize synergies. This initiative is critical for advancing automated driving technology in the heavy-duty truck sector.
