Data Link Solutions Receives $248 Million Navy Contract for MIDS JTRS Tactical Radio System
Data Link Solutions has been awarded a $248 million contract by the U.S. Navy to produce Multifunctional Information Distribution System Joint Tactical Radio System (MIDS JTRS) terminals. These terminals will enhance command and control capabilities with jam-resistant Link 16 connectivity, supporting various communication types across multiple platforms, including unmanned aerial vehicles and armored ground vehicles. Production will take place in Wayne, New Jersey, and Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The system enhances command and control with jam-resistant Link 16 connectivity, supporting voice, video, and data communications across sea, ground, and air assets. The contract will provide hundreds of terminals compatible with over 45 U.S. and international platforms, including unmanned aerial vehicles and armored ground vehicles. Production will occur in Wayne, New Jersey, and Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
