Lucid Bots and Davidson College have initiated the Davidson Innovation Fellows Program, providing recent graduates with practical experience in robotics and technology fields. The program will host up to four fellows annually and may extend for five years, enhancing workforce development in North Carolina.

Lucid Bots, founded in 2018 by Davidson College alumnus Andrew Ashur, is launching the Davidson Innovation Fellows Program, a 12-month fellowship designed for recent graduates. The initiative aims to host up to four fellows per year, offering hands-on experience in areas such as robotics testing, software development, and operations.
This program also creates a priority pipeline for internships and experiential learning at Lucid Bots, enhancing opportunities for students in technology sectors. Additionally, it facilitates faculty research collaborations with private partners. The program is accessible through the Matthews Center for Career Development, now live on Handshake.
