DCMA Develops Tool for Monitoring Drone Contractor Performance
The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) has created a new tool to enhance monitoring of defense contractor performance. This initiative aims to transition from reactive measures to proactive management, minimizing risks that could delay program delivery.

The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) has developed a tool that centralizes and visualizes contractor performance data, facilitating timely corrective actions. This initiative is designed to help teams operate proactively, thereby reducing delays and inefficiencies in program delivery.
Collaboration between DCMA personnel and Air Force Capt. Reginald Slater led to a solution that offers a 'single source of truth' for stakeholders. A detailed guide was also created to support replication across other Contract Management Offices (CMOs). Enhanced data standardization and transparency are expected outcomes, ensuring better oversight of taxpayer funds.
