Dechert Expands Practices with New Partners and Leadership in Litigation and Corporate Sectors
Dechert has added a group of experienced partners to enhance its litigation, corporate, intellectual property, and labor and employment practices. Mark Thierfelder, co-chair of Dechert, expressed confidence in the new members' contributions to the firm's growth.
Mike Poulos, the new global head of strategy, aims to leverage the firm's strategic growth opportunities. Seth Friedman and Tim Hoeffner will co-chair a new accounting defense practice, while Bill Donovan will lead the class action practice in Los Angeles.
Rachel Cowen, Nicolle Jacoby, and Philippe Thomas will co-chair the labor and employment practice, with Christina Martini joining the intellectual property practice alongside Kassie Helm. Additionally, Joanna Lin and Wilson Chu have joined to establish the corporate and M&A practice in Dallas, bringing the total to five partners in that office focusing on complex litigation and corporate governance.
