DEEP Robotics and JD Logistics Innovate Tea Harvesting with Robot Dogs
DEEP Robotics has deployed its LYNX M20 and X30 robot dogs in Zhejiang's tea fields to enhance efficiency in spring tea harvesting. This collaboration with JD Logistics seeks to expedite the transport of delicate tea leaves, addressing longstanding challenges in the industry.

DEEP Robotics has introduced its LYNX M20 and X30 robot dogs in the West Lake Longjing tea region to address the critical need for efficient transport of freshly harvested tea leaves. These robots can navigate narrow paths of 50cm and steep slopes of 45°, significantly reducing the time required to move leaves from the harvest site to processing workshops, which is essential for maintaining quality.
The robots effectively alleviate labor shortages and enhance productivity in a labor-intensive sector. By implementing a 'picked today, shipped today' model, DEEP Robotics and JD Logistics aim to create a smart ecosystem that ensures freshness and efficiency in tea production. The focus on practical agricultural applications positions the company for future growth across various sectors.
