DeepLase Secures Funding to Develop Specialty Fibre Lasers in India
DeepLase Technologies has raised Rs 6 crore to enhance its manufacturing capabilities for specialty optical fibres and fibre lasers. This funding aims to build domestic photonics infrastructure in India, addressing the current reliance on imported components.

DeepLase Technologies, based in New Delhi, has secured Rs 6 crore in a seed funding round to expand its engineering and manufacturing capabilities for specialty optical fibres and fibre lasers. Founded by Dr.
Deepak Jain, the company focuses on creating optical components that can perform reliably in demanding industrial applications, such as precision automation and quantum technologies. Unlike most manufacturers that source fibres from external suppliers, DeepLase integrates fibre design with laser systems, ensuring compatibility and performance in real-world environments. The funding will support product commercialization and scaling across various sectors, aiming to reduce India's dependence on foreign supply chains for advanced photonics.
