Defence Builder Expands into Full-Cycle Defense-Tech Ecosystem
Defence Builder has launched a $5 million venture fund and expanded advisory services within its accelerator program. This move aims to enhance the defense-tech ecosystem in Ukraine by supporting early-stage companies from pre-seed to Series A funding.

Defence Builder has introduced a $5 million venture fund targeting early-stage defense and dual-use companies, with investments up to $300,000 each. The fund's launch is part of a broader expansion that includes advisory services and market intelligence, aimed at creating a comprehensive defense-tech ecosystem in Ukraine.
The accelerator has completed two cohorts since its 2024 launch, with over 25 companies participating and a combined valuation exceeding $40 million. Additional funding is anticipated, with a larger second fund under consideration. With the defense sector's rapid growth, market size for unmanned aerial vehicles, ground robotics, and electronic warfare is projected at $4.8 billion, with investments surging from $10 million in 2023 to $129 million by 2025.
