Defense Unicorns, based in San Antonio, Texas, raised $136 million in Series B funding, reaching a valuation over $1 billion. The funding, led by Bain Capital with contributions from multiple investors, will enhance the Unicorn Delivery Service and UDS Army products.

The company reported a 300% year-over-year increase in military system adoption. Defense Unicorns also secured $35 million in Series A funding in 2024 and a $15 million STRATFI agreement from SpaceWERX for IT updates at U.S.

Space Force ranges. The UDS Registry is utilized by over 30 military mission systems, and the company holds Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Level 2.
