Delivery of Steam Generators for Akkuyu NPP Unit 4 in Türkiye
Akkuyu NPP in Türkiye has received four steam generators for unit 4, marking a significant milestone in the plant's construction. This delivery ensures the continuation of systematic work on the facility, which is crucial for the upcoming operational phases of the nuclear power plant.

Four steam generators for unit 4 of the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) have been delivered, enhancing the project's construction progress. The equipment was manufactured at Atommash in Volgodonsk and transported to Türkiye over approximately 3,000 km.
The Akkuyu NPP will comprise four Russian VVER-1200 reactors, with unit 1 expected to launch in 2026. Work continues on all units and associated infrastructure. Furthermore, a 350-tonne overhead crane has been installed in unit 3's turbine hall to facilitate construction. The efficient installation methods used demonstrate advancements in project management and safety protocols, potentially reducing future project delays.
