Department of Energy Opens $293 Million Funding for Genesis Mission Research Applications
The Department of Energy has released a Request for Application inviting researchers to apply for $293 million in funding. This initiative aims to advance the Genesis Mission by supporting interdisciplinary teams utilizing artificial intelligence to address challenges in advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, critical materials, nuclear energy, and quantum information science. Awards will vary, with Phase I funding between $500,000 and $750,000 for nine months, and Phase II funding ranging from $6 million to $15 million over three years.
