Department of War Launches 'Agent Network' to Enhance AI-Enabled Targeting
The Department of War has introduced 'Agent Network,' a key initiative under its AI Acceleration Strategy, aimed at improving battle management and targeting processes. By utilizing AI-enabled tools, this system is expected to expedite decision-making and operational responses significantly.

The Department of War has unveiled 'Agent Network,' the second Pace-Setting Project (PSP 2) under its AI Acceleration Strategy. This initiative, developed in collaboration with USPACOM, USSOUTHCOM, and USEUCOM, aims to reduce the time required for commanders to respond to critical developments by employing AI tools that convert intelligence into actionable options within seconds.
The system does not autonomously select targets but keeps commanders in control, providing them with the most current operational data. Rigorous testing and oversight will accompany its deployment to ensure compliance with U.S. legal and ethical standards, enhancing national defense while maintaining accountability and reducing collateral risks.
