Derco Secures C-130 Aviation Consumables Contract from Defense Logistics Agency
Derco, a Lockheed Martin Company, has been awarded the C-130 Aviation Consumables Performance Based Logistics (ACPBL) contract by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). This contract marks the first outcome-based program between DLA and Lockheed Martin.
The ACPBL contract aims to enhance aircraft readiness by ensuring the availability of spare parts and providing performance-based support. Derco will collaborate with DLA on demand forecasting, inventory management, warehousing, engineering support, and field service representation.
The C-130 Hercules has been a key asset in military aviation for over 70 years. Derco's role emphasizes its commitment to innovation and national security through sustainment services. The Lockheed Martin facility in Marietta, Georgia, has been operational since 1951 and continues to support various aircraft including the C-5 Galaxy and P-3 Orion.
