DFKI Expands AI Partnerships with Brazil at Hannover Messe 2026
The DFKI has signed two MoUs with Brazilian organizations SENAI CIMATEC and NEXUS AI Campus to enhance AI collaboration. These agreements aim to advance innovative AI technologies and foster economic applications in the context of Germany-Brazil cooperation.

The German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Brazilian organizations, SENAI CIMATEC and NEXUS AI Campus, at the Hannover Messe 2026. These partnerships focus on applied AI and industrial innovation, targeting enhanced collaboration in technology development.
SENAI has been a longstanding partner, having established the Brazilian Institute of Robotics in 2013, resulting in projects like the autonomous underwater vehicle FlatFish. NEXUS AI Campus aims to link businesses and academic institutions in Brazil, enhancing applied AI research and market-oriented solutions across various sectors. The strategic alliances are expected to intensify knowledge exchange and economic utilization of AI technologies.
