DEFENSE

On January 12, the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) issued a request for information (RFI) for Artificial Intelligence Test, Evaluation, Verification, and Validation (TEVV) Capability, with responses due by February 6. The initiative aims to enhance TEVV activities to support AI and AI-enabled capabilities within the Intelligence Community and Department of War.

Concurrently, the Army's Joint Interagency Task Force 401 contracted two DroneHunter F700 counter-UAS systems as part of the Replicator 2 initiative, which focuses on countering small drone threats. The DroneHunter system integrates AI and radar technologies for automated threat detection and neutralization.

The systems are expected to be delivered by April. The Replicator initiative, launched in 2023, aims to expedite innovative capabilities for warfighters, leveraging commercial sector advancements.
