Diehl Defence unveiled the Garmr, an AI-supported mobile counter-UAV system, transitioning from its previous Kinetic Defence Vehicle (KDV). The system combines machine guns and interceptor drones to provide air defense capabilities beyond 70 km, targeting both civilian and military applications.

The Garmr includes two variants: Garmr SRS for short-range and Garmr MRS for medium-range engagements. It utilizes AI for detection and prioritization of aerial threats and features advanced interceptor drones like Cicada and Hornet Block 2. The vehicle, based on Enok AB, delivers operational mobility and is set for deployment in 2026, following extensive testing and integration.
