Dimolog has launched a 19,000-square-meter distribution center in Bain-de-Bretagne, enhancing its e-commerce logistics for L'Oréal across Europe. The facility, operational since March 2025, is designed to process up to 2 million orders annually, reflecting a strategic shift toward automation and sustainability in the logistics sector.

Dimolog's new distribution center in Bain-de-Bretagne spans 19,000 square meters and enhances operational capacity by over 80%, focusing on L'Oréal's e-commerce needs. The facility aims to process between 1.7 and 2 million orders annually by the second half of 2026, adapting to post-Brexit supply chain requirements.
Equipped with 58 autonomous mobile robots and 30 pick-and-place stations, the center improves order processing efficiency, potentially reducing times by up to 40%. With an anticipated workforce of 100 employees, the site supports 7,000 daily orders sourced from 130 L'Oréal sites.
The facility is part of a broader strategy to address growing demands for last-mile logistics and has secured a minimum six-year lease with Argan. Future partnerships with other brands are under consideration, utilizing remaining space for diverse sectors. This initiative is expected to have significant implications for logistics in rural areas and may influence local industrial investment strategies.
