DJ Shipley, a former U.S. Navy SEAL with 17 years of service, was medically retired in 2019 due to combat injuries. He served in elite units, including SEAL Team 10 and the Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU), also known as SEAL Team 6, participating in operations in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Africa.

After his military career, he co-founded GBRS Group, a tactical training company, where he serves as Chief Training Officer, focusing on providing training for military and law enforcement. Shipley, the son of retired SEAL Don Shipley, continues to promote wellness for veterans and active-duty personnel through his work.
